Android smartphones and tablets have hit the markets world over and intend to stay popular as Android already is but this happened due to some features its users loved to have. One of the most liked facts is the nature of the platform accessible to all and another one being a variety of firmware available for a number of Android devices. Like many of us already know Android is fundamentally Android Open Source Project (AOSP) based. You can find a lot of ROMs that root straight into AOSP and are available for various phones as well as tablets. Nonetheless, the trendsetter label remains with CyanogenMod.
CyanogenMod’s popularity graph seems to go upwards each time an Android is released owing to the complete vanilla Android experience along with many new options otherwise not found and much to the relief of the old Android device users as they can fully experience the new Android releases that are not usually supported by OEMs. Therefore, users always look forward to devices getting CM support and especially users owning Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 would love to hear that official CM 10.1 nightlies have been released for this Samsung tablet.

Just like other nightly products by CM, this one is also still in a developmental stage and might contain a few bugs that will render the ROM not workable for everyday driver. Even though it is a hindrance but Android loyalists don’t get worried rather always find out the bugs coming with these new releases. You can also be a part of being a source to improvement in this regard.
Before you start, note here that you will go through the given process at your own risk. This post cannot be held responsible for any damage to your device resulting from following these instructions.
